Here's a good example of a water pipe that can be cool without getting too crazy.

This lil' bopper has a quaint glass mushroom patch scene blown onto the rear of the rig's neck - they even jut out a little bit, giving it a neat 3-D effect! 

Like all the other versions of Red Eye's streamlined beaker bases, this one still has that great glass quality you'd expect from Red Eye Glass - and hey, that colour change doesn't look too bad either!
